our annual event, SPIDERDEAD, creates a sacred space where all our individual and collective feelings of loss, existentialism, and grief can be held without judgement and explored without the confines of societal norms. it welcomes a heavy heart, it encourages us to hold space for one another in a revolutionary act of community care. it is a funeral for who we were and what we’ve lost. it is an acknowledgement of all that goes unspoken. it is a place to experience death so we can better appreciate life.
