Join Spiderweb Salon for a celebration of life and death in this delightfully dark artistic showcase. Through music, poetry, theater, performance art, puppetry, dance, and interactive storytelling we bring to the stage a thoughtful, existential collective mourning project honoring those who have come before us and artistically investigating our own mortality.
Please dress in black, arrive early to participate in the reception prior to the showcase, and prepare yourself for collaborative and interactive musings on the afterlife and an experimental funeral vibe.
7-8 PM: Reception. Feat. music by the amazing Corbin Childs and his synth machines + Bake & Wake with Wake & Bake: A comfort food potluck. To participate, arrive at 7 or just before with an easy-serve, single dish item such as a savory casserole or desert to share, along with a label indicating any dietary notes.
