Spiderweb Salon invites you to join the fun and create with us! Our artists worked within the theme of gender and identity for this project and encourage you to explore this theme yourself. After listening to some of the work our artists created, find a piece of artwork in the Dallas Museum of Art that speaks to you and use the inspiration to create a poem, story, or song that is about 30-60 seconds long. Share it with us (and don’t forget to fill out the form!) for a chance to be featured on our website and Instagram! We can’t wait to see what you create.
Here’s what you do:
Check out our exhibit collective | connection at the DMA!
Take a selfie or have a friend snap a photo of you using one of our phones in the exhibit!
Find a piece that inspires you from the Dallas Museum of Art’s collection (be sure to jot down the title and artist!)
Write a short poem, story, memory, song, etc. inspired by the artwork you selected.
