spiderweb salon is an ever-evolving group of artists, writers, musicians, dancers, makers, bakers, and dreamers. in our eleven+ years together (founded in june 2012), our goals have always been to create & collaborate constantly, to curate places, events, and publications where folks can share their work, and to strengthen friendships & have fun while supporting one another and our community. much of the collective is based in north texas (USA) but our artist members, collaborators, and supporters are from all over the world. we love you.

we offer an ongoing (virtual!) weekly peer-led support group for community members, friends, and comrades to share and support one another in a radically loving and non-judgemental space. from 2017-19, in partnership with Shiny Sound Recording Studio, we recorded and produced thirteen songs as part of an incredible compilation / collaboration project. PUT A RECORD ON was pressed on vinyl and released summer 2019 along with a companion zine full of photos, lyrics, and beautiful artwork inspired by the music. listen here >>

let’s read together! our FOLLOW THE READER bookclub has been getting lit (sorry y’all) since january of 2018. since then we have read 40+ books together, have had bookish pool parties, and embarked on a few literary field trips. we are loyal to no genre and love reading our friends’ work, too. check out our current & past reads and join us >>
